"Mr. Cook, can I have more salad?!"
That's what could be heard in Mr. Brian Cook's 2nd-grade class Friday at Jefferson Elementary, as students enjoyed a special treat. The class made salads with fresh lettuce grown in their tower garden. Mr. Cook brought his family's special silverware and had a table set in front of the classroom so the students could enjoy a family-style meal. Mr. Cook said he was happy to see how excited his students were to enjoy fresh foods.
What a great end to the week!

Drive through Cape County Park by the Nature Center to see the Cape Central High lights display along with many others that have been created by local artists. Our students worked very hard on this adorable display!
On December 17th, grab a bite to eat from local food trucks and enjoy a walk through the park while enjoying the beautiful lights!
